extravagant love come down

Was doing qt just now in the afternoon after I woke up. Today was especially distracting. My mom and bro were outside in the living room playing around and made a lot of noises despite me walking out of the room so many times to ask them quieten down. Was very disturbed. But thank God, in the end they did quieten down. Was crying out to God for His presence with “As the Deer”. Was just led to sing this song over and over, wanted to tell Him this was what was I longing for. His presence next to me. And He did come =)

God, You know this is what I want. I long for You more than anything else. This song is a declaration of my desire to know You more. Come saturate my being with Your Holy Spirit whenever I call to You.

Psalm 139: 23-24
“Search me, O God, and know my heart; test me and know my anxious thoughts. See if there is any offensive way in me, and lead me in the way everlasting.”

Lord, take me, break me, mould me in Your image. Humble me and teach me Your ways. In Jesus’ name, I pray, Amen.

Today’s Psalm 2!! LOL. (God, I pray I would be able to persist on for the next 148 days, with Your strength.)
One thing that really struck out in Psalm 2 was verse 12.

12 “Blessed are those who seek in refuge in Him.”
When I saw this line, and meditated upon this word, I saw a picture of God, in his white robe, and His arms outstretched, with many of His people standing within His encircled arms, all looking safe and warm and joyous, and He looked very pleased with them. LOL. Those who choose to obey Him come under His protection and to be protected by God is something that is to be rejoiced over!
